We are delighted to welcome you at the 6th TEPE International Conference on "Research, Policy and Practice in Teacher Education in Europe" to be held in Warsaw (Poland), 17-19 May 2012.
This event will bring together 120 experts: representatives of universities, governmental and non-governmental institutions and research, policy, teacher education professionals from all around the world. We expect it to be a great opportunity and an inspiring occasion for learning, especially leading to discussion on how to make teacher education in Europe better, and how to bridge the gap between the policy makers, academics and practitioners.
The conference is organized in collaboration with the Foundation for the Development of the Education System (FRSE), which is the National Agency of the Lifelong Learning Programme.
Since 1993 FRSE has supported activities that improve education and teachers’ skills through their international cooperation and visits to foreign schools. The prior objective of the Foundation is to support activities that serve the development of education in Poland. The FRSE implements this objective through the coordination of the European Union educational programmes, among others. Those programmes involve not only teachers but also such participants as children, young people and adults – from pre-schoolers to senior citizens.
During the conference, the scientific programme consists of keynote speeches, plenary sessions and free papers. Papers will be presented in ten parallel groups and two symposia. In reference to the organizational details we would like to ask you to fill in the registration form on the website.
